Infinite Chicken

Infinite Chicken is a short upgrade-a-thon game about catching chicken and then using them to gain upgrades and abilities that let you catch even more chicken. Featuring a Chicken Fractalisator, a way too powerful jumping ability, some chameleon chicken, a special localiser for your Chicken Localiser, and, technically speaking, probably the most chicken out of any video game.

It was made in 2 days for the "I Love you, ___!" Game Jam hosted by the RPG Maker Web forums. The jam was actually much longer, I just joined it last minute xD

I apologise in advance for all the typos present, I ran out of time before I got the chance to go hunt for them. The gameplay should work reasonably well, but the writing might not.

This jam included a challenge to not use any custom code or assets that are not part of RPG Maker. Coming up with an interesting game despite those limitations was quite fun.
If you use RPG Maker - the game is unencrypted, so feel free to poke around and see how it works. I'm happy to answer any questions about it too.

A web version is available, but the download versions are generally recommended. If you have problems with the web version's layout, try pressing F3.

Note that due to the nature of the jam, there are absolutely no plugins, including any form of autosave or a fix for that rare bug that sometimes makes the engine freeze. Saving often is recommended!
